SPØKES - all-road drum kit // 100% bicycle sounds.

So, this pack is a weird one. I decided to sample some sounds from my bike using my new field recorder and shotgun mic and quickly realized that these sounds had some serious potential of being turned into a really sick drum kit.

Snares layered from sprocket clicks and spoke strikes, 808s created from the sound of me banging my bike seat, flywheel hats... This kit turned out way more capable than I could've imagined.

So here it is, "SPØKES", a super off-the wall drum kit that is 100% original, 100% bike sounds, yet 100% musical at the same time.

I hope you'll have just as much fun using these samples as I had creating them.
